After a day of scouting and painting I was walking off my dinner when I came across this sunset scene. The light was steaming across the horizon at a very low angle. This created a plethora of cool and warm colors that you can only get at a certain time of day. I knew there wasn't time to get my plein air rig so I took the shot and have enjoyed capturing this scene in my studio trying to re live the moment.

I call the painting "Color Drenched Sunset" and it is an original 12" x 24" original oil painting and comes in a gallery style frame.
