This is a painting of China Camp, one of California's State Parks in the San Pablo Bay in San Rafael.

On a recent visit to northern CA I was looking at a map to see what new places I could discover and possibly paint and decided on a visit to China Camp. It has such rich history from the indigenous people that lived there first, then the Europeans and then the Chinese came in after the Gold Rush and set up a fishing village there. It is now run by countless volunteers to keep it's rich history alive.

This is a 14" x 18" original oil painting and comes in a gallery style wood frame.
