The cathedral, built in 14th & 15th centuries, was steps away from the hotel I stayed at in Rouen, France so I walked past it every day of my stay and it looked different at different times of day. Claude Monet painted it multiple times from the front and I chose this angle to capture the gardens and complexity of the towers. I wanted to do the vertical orientation to capture the architecture. I would consider this a 10 on my scale of difficulty because of the intricacy of details.
