I found this spot on an early morning on my vacation in Paris, France. The cafe was getting ready to open and deliveries were being made. People were on their way to work and the street lights were still on from the night before. I was attracted to the predawn darkness contrasted against the red awning and yellow signage.

This was painted on site en plein air and is a unframed 9"x12" original oil painting.
