This is a nocturnal painting I created on a trip to Two Harbors, on the quiet side of Catalina Island off the coast of southern California. I got up very early and painted this scene before anyone else was up, just me and the buffalo. This scene is of the pier where the boats come in from the mainland with campers, hikers and people looking for a quiet place to spend a couple of days.

This was done on site en plein air and is a 8”x10” original oil painting.
