For this piece, I wasn’t able to follow my normal process by starting with a study because I wasn’t allowed to paint on site here at the port. This is a scene of a container ship at the busy Port of Long Beach in southern California. It’s fenced off and is very high security. All I had time to do was snap some photographs before being chased off by homeland security. I was happy with this one shot I was able to get and paint from.

This is a 12”x 16” original oil painting and comes in a gallery style frame.
