This is a commissioned painting of the Starling Diner in Long Beach. I had been asked by the owner to paint the restaurant after she had googled her diner on the internet and another painting I did of the restaurant came up. She contacted me and soon learned my studio was only a block away which made it even more special to her to have me paint another for her. This was done at dusk as the lights were coming on and it gave it a warm, welcoming feel.
