I painted this scene in Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming. My wife and I had just set out from Jackson for the day to take a road trip and came around the corner to see this breathtaking scene. I whipped our car around and pulled over and immediately set up my rig and started painting. This is the finished studio painting I did after our trip.
