I painted this in September 2014 during the epic surf period when the waves were huge and crowds flocked to the Newport Beach Wedge to see the action. The beach was crowded with onlookers, photographers, painters.

This painting was one of 5 paintings selected for the annual 6x6" show at the Randy Higbee Gallery in Dec. 2014.
