I decided to hike in with my painting gear into Malibu Creek State Park. I ended walking pretty far and almost gave up hope of finding just the right scene and then came upon this view. I was struck by the beautiful colors of the foreground and the fantastic mountains ahead.

This is a 11" x 14" original oil painting and comes framed in a gallery style frame.
